This 8 hour EPA approved training course meets the new EPA requirements contained in 40 CFR 745.225, for contractors performing renovations or repairs in pre-1978 housing and child occupied facilities. Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be EPA certified Renovators. This new EPA rule applies to painters, renovators, remodelers, plumbers, electricians, window & door contractors, as well as other contractors that may disturb lead-based paint coated surfaces causing a potential risk to occupants of exposure to lead.

The course includes formal classroom training, hands-on training, and a short examination at the end of the class. A certificate of completion will be issued to all persons successfully completing the course.
