Lead-Based Paint Abatement Worker

This 2-day course is required by the Virginia Department of Professional & Occupational Regulation (DOPR) for employees working on lead-based paint abatement projects. The 16 hour class covers DOPR required topics, including health effects, environmental sources of lead contamination, respiratory protection, medical monitoring, personal sampling, abatement methods, environmental controls and hazard reduction, regulatory overview, and waste disposal. The course includes classroom and hands on training. Following the completion of the training a 50 question examination is administered. Ecosystems Environmental Services, Inc. course is accredited by DOPR.
